Founded in 1984 by the Öksüz and Gümüşer families, Kipaş Holding is the first and only holding company in Kahramanmaraş. Operating in six main sectors, primarily textiles, as well as cement, paper, energy, education and logistics, Kipaş Holding provides employment for approximately 11,000 people.
Kipaş Holding, a top taxpayer in Kahramanmaraş and one of Türkiye's top 100 exporting companies, exports approximately 200 million dollars of goods to nearly 100 countries and is represented by six companies in the ISO 500 list. Giving great importance to R&D, Kipaş Holding is also among the top 250 companies in this field.
KÇS was established by KİPAŞ Holding in 2006 and began production in 2008. With a new production line investment in 2012, KÇS Kipaş Cement has a cement production facility with an annual production capacity of 3,000,000 tons of clinker and 4,000,000 tons of cement.
In addition to its cement production factory, the company operates 17 concrete production facilities and 23 ready-mix concrete batching plants in 7 provinces with a total production capacity of 30,000 m3/day, making it a strong player primarily in the Mediterranean Region, as well as in Kahramanmaraş and surrounding provinces.
Continuing its investments in the building materials sector, KCS Kipaş Aerated Concrete Kahramanmaraş Plant, established in 2013 with the latest technological capabilities of the time, has a production capacity of 400,000 m3 of aerated concrete.
In 2019, KCS Kipaş Aerated Concrete invested in a second aerated concrete production facility in Söke, Aydın, with a capacity of 600,000 m3, bringing its total aerated concrete production capacity to 1,000,000 m3. Continuing its pioneering mission in every area it invests in, Kipaş Holding and KÇS also launched reinforced aerated concrete production at the Söke facility in 2019.
With its approach of continuous improvement, efficient production and environmental protection, KÇS commissioned a Waste Heat Power Plant with a production capacity of 9 MW/h in 2017 and, continuing its investments, commissioned a Waste Incineration Plant in 2018, where waste is disposed of and energy is recovered.
Operating with the principle of being the best in its sector, KÇS quickly became one of Türkiye's leading cement producers. It continues its cement and aerated concrete production activities on a 756,000 m2 area located on the Gaziantep-Narlı highway toll booths road in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province. With facilities in 7 provinces, it carries out cement, aerated concrete and concrete production activities and provides employment to approximately 1,500 people.
