INTERNSHIP PRACTICES

In line with its aims, policies and principles, Kipaş Holding always welcomes collaboration between educational institutions and industrial organizations to ensure that departments' internship needs are met appropriately, and takes a positive approach to internship requests from secondary and higher education institutions. Programs are designed to support students' career choices and individual development during their internships, while also enabling them to add value to Kipaş Holding.

Our Vocational High School Internship Program

Within the framework of Law No. 3308, we are obligated to employ vocational high school students, and we strive to create opportunities for them to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquire in their schools, within our quota, and to prepare them for the future in the best possible way.

This practice begins with the start of the school year in the final year of high school and ends with its closing. Each school selects its own students.

Our University Internship Program

One of our main goals is to provide these young people, whom we see as the guarantee of our future, with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquire at school in our company, to work and to prepare them in the best possible way for the work environment. Quotas are determined by the Business Managers to reach our total quota. The program is implemented in two 1.5-month periods during the 3-month summer vacation.

Authority and Responsibility
  • The Human Resources Unit is responsible for receiving and approving intern applications from relevant departments, distributing them to the relevant departments and coordinating the internship period.
  • Department Management is responsible for accurately determining and requesting the number of interns based on the number of employees and the variety of tasks performed within the team. Additionally, each team has a senior employee responsible for the interns to ensure they gain knowledge and develop their skills throughout their internship period.
  • The Senior Employee Responsible for Interns monitors intern absences and reports them daily to the Human Resources Department.
Internship Program
  • University internships offer internship opportunities to students of faculties and vocational schools affiliated with higher education institutions during the summer term. Summer interns complete internships lasting between 20 and 40 working days.
  • Long-term internships include high school and university students. High school internships begin in September and continue until the end of the academic year. University internships begin in September or February and continue until the end of the semester.
Determining Internship Needs

Kipaş Holding Human Resources Department determines intern quotas so that they do not exceed 10% of the current number of personnel in the department. Furthermore, the intern quota is determined according to the existing work structure of the department.
